Author Bio

Hello Readers,

Carmon Steele was born in St. Louis, MO thirty-two years ago.  She graduated from Mc Cluer North High School and attended the University of Missouri- Kansas City on a track and field scholarship, where she obtained her Bachelors’ in Psychology. After years of traveling, she now resides in Memphis Tennessee. Carmon is happily married to her wonderfully supportive husband of seven years, which whom she shares a beautiful daughter with and their dog Xena. Carmon juggles a hectic schedule with having a full time job, family life and she is currently three credit hours away from completing her Masters in Human Resource Management. She’s an active member of her local City Beautiful Committee which is geared toward improving and maintaining a beautiful city that is environmentally friendly. Amazing, when she’s not busy with all her other responsibilities, she is active member in her local Memphis RWA National Chapter,  River City Romance Writers. She has been recently appointed as a “Member at Large” within the chapter. In order to fulfill her passion as a writer, Carmon often  steals quite time in the late night hours when the house has finally asleep to work on her current WIP’s or other ideas bouncing around in her head.

Her love of reading romance novels started in her mid to late twenties, since then Carmon been a voracious reader. She started out reading AA and historical romances but now she’s hooked on the paranormal, time travel and some contemporary romance novels. Carmon has been writing for only a short while but during this time she has several short stories and one exotic novella under her belt, this aspiring writer is currently working on her first full-length novel, which she hoped to have completed by May 2009. Recently she has submitted her first novella to a well-known publishing house with hopes of becoming published. The future looks bright for Carmon Steele and I believe she’s an up and coming star in the paranormal and exotic genre. I’m looking forward to seeing her shine.
